The bZ Limited’s standard easy entry system glides the driver’s seat back when the door is unlocked or the ignition is switched off, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. The EX60 doesn’t offer an easy entry system.
If the windows are left open on the bZ the driver can close all of them at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. (This window function must be activated by your Toyota service department.) The driver of the EX60 can only operate the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.
The bZ’s power mirror controls are mounted on the armrest for easy access. The EX60’s power mirror controls are embedded in the infotainment system, seriously distracting drivers who have to adjust them while driving.
When the bZ Limited/Premium is put in reverse, both rearview mirrors tilt from their original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirrors into their original positions. The EX60’s mirrors don’t automatically adjust for backing.
The bZ has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel costs extra on the EX60.
Compared to the Volvo EX60, the Toyota bZ eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its standard integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the rear view mirror.
The Toyota bZ stands out above the Volvo EX60 by offering not one, but two Qi-compatible phone chargers. This convenience helps travelers with multiple devices to keep powered up on-the-go. Wireless charging eliminates lost or cluttered charging cables and two of them provide more flexibility.
The bZ has a 115-volt a/c outlet, allowing you to recharge a laptop or run small household appliances without special adapters that can break or get misplaced. The EX60 doesn’t offer a house-current electrical outlet.
